Sandown Republican Committee
Welcome on behalf of the Sandown Republican Committee,
As most are aware the upcoming 2012 election will play a vital role in the future of our great country. Voters are urged to take an interest in the issues facing the American people and their active participation in this year’s election process is essential. Recently the Sandown Republican Committee conducted a political Straw Poll at our Old Home Days event that ran concurrent with the Ames
Iowa Straw Poll on August 13th and the results have been posted on this website. Polls are used as an indicator of public opinion at the time that they are taken and identical polls can most often vary in results from week to week during the campaign season. One thing we can accurately predict however is that the 2012 presidential election is shaping up to be one heck of a horse race!
We are hopeful that in 2012 the Republican Party will enjoy the same success as seen in 2010 at the county, state, and national levels. The members of the Sandown Republican Committee were proud to have played a key part in the 2010 election results through the use of grass roots efforts by engaging and educating voters throughout the region on the choice of Republican candidates and on core Republican values and principles. Moving forward, the committee will capitalize on that momentum in defining strategic goals and initiatives as part of our overall vision for success in 2012 and beyond.
Candidate support, recruitment, fundraising, education and awareness, community involvement, activism, and ensuring the accountability of our elected officials will all be an integral part of our plan for opportunities in support of the Republican Party and of our nation. I would also like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our website. It is our hope that this site will serve as a valuable resource to learn more about the committee, know your current elected officials, view upcoming events, and read about the various issues and concerns with government that can affect the quality of our lives.
Learn how you can make a donation, become a member of the committee as either a registered Republican or Independent, or help contribute to a Republican victory on a county, state, or national level. Now, more than ever, it is critical that we remain committed to our core principles of fiscal responsibility, individual rights, accountability, and local control.
Thank you for your support,
Roger Barczak, Chairman
Sandown Republican Committee
On December 16, 1773, a group of, neighbors, citizens and patriots protested the action and laws of a distant, tyrannical King and government by throwing overtaxed tea into the Boston Harbor. Resurrected in 2009, that spirit lives!
We, the SRC, support limited government and fiscal responsibly and applaud the growing, grass-roots efforts across our great and free land that supports these values and views.
